Pastor Isidoro Manzo -founder of the first Calvary Chapel on the Big Island of Hawaii in Kailua-Kona, began teaching God’s Word in a home study and has seen God’s hand of blessing upon the fellowship as it has grown since its first meeting in July of 1992. 

Sunday services are usually held on the beach at the North end of the Old Airport Beach Park, but currently are hosted on FaceBook Live streaming at 10:30 am Hawaii Standard Time.


In April 2007 Calvary Chapel Kona launched a new work- Amazing Grace Ministries International. We desire to continue teaching God’s Word, blessing our community here locally, as well as reaching out even further in ministering to and supporting more widows, orphans and missionaries abroad.


Currently our ministry is helping to support the orphanage work of Baan Emanuel with Ron Miller in Thailand, Brad Antolivich in Switzerland, Michael Ohlman at CC Golden Grace in the Philippines.

Directions to Services

Aloha,

Usually, we meet right on the beach, Sunday's at 9 a.m. at the North end of the Old Airport Beach Park.   We begin with a feeding for the the homeless at 8:30 a.m.   Followed by contemporary worship and time in God’s Word.  but services currently are hosted on FaceBook Live Straming at 10:30 am Hawaii Standard Time.

Coming from  the Keahole International Airport,  just drive south on the Queen K Highway to Makala & turn right towards the ocean, then right again onto the two lane street called the Kuakini Highway, then go 50 feet & turn left onto the old airport run way. Go all the way to the north end, and we will be on the beach on your left.
